El objetivo de este encuentro intercultural e intergeneracional es que las participantes reflexionen sobre la construcción del relato histórico y la importancia del testimonio en la construcción de una memoria pública y democrática. Escuchar de primera mano las historias de los protagonistas brindará a las personas de Carleton una posibilidad única de ampliar su comprensión y conocimiento histórico.
The objective of this intercultural and intergenerational project is for all the participants to reflect on the construction of historical narrative and the importance of oral testimony in the formation of a public and democratic memory. Hearing the stories of the protagonists firsthand will provide Carleton students with a unique opportunity to broaden their understanding of the materials we study in our course.
